Therapeutic Mentors are used in a variety of programs at The Home and are a valuable resource for many children. They offer structured, strength-based support services to address daily living, social, and communication needs.

Therapeutic Mentors provide training, support and coaching in the following areas:

  • Appropriate behavior 
  • Interpersonal Communication 
  • Functional skill-building 
  • Problem Solving 
  • Conflict Resolution 
  • Relating appropriately to other youth and adults
