Heidi Ferreira serves as Vice President of Risk Management, Evaluation, and Outcomes, a role she assumed in December 2011. In this capacity, Heidi oversees all aspects of quality management, research and evaluation, corporate compliance and risk management. She has direct oversight of COA accreditation, internal investigations, client/human rights, health information, and regulatory/legal requirements. Heidi joined The Home in 1996 as a Residential Counselor and has since held positions of increasing responsibility. Heidi co-chairs agency initiatives such as restraint/incident reduction, emergency preparedness, community safety, and the electronic health record.
Heidi brings over 20 years of experience in the field of non-profit work and children’s services. Prior to joining The Home she worked at Y.O.U. Inc. and Comcare. Heidi is a graduate of Framingham State College with a B.A. in Sociology. In May 2012, Heidi graduated with her Juris Doctorate from the University of Massachusetts School of Law.
Heidi is an active member of the American Health Information Management Association (AHIMA) and the Association of Behavioral Healthcare's Corporate Compliance group.
